The engineers at the MIT Instrumentation Laboratory, which later became Draper Laboratory, were responsible for designing the Guidance, Navigation and Control system for the Apollo program, including the Apollo Guidance Computer — one of the first applications of the integrated circuit.  As the nation celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Man landing on the Moon, Draper celebrates our own engineering accomplishments that, in-part, enabled the success of the Apollo missions, and paved the way for Draper’s continued role in modern space flight.
